Ok- no....I didn't think of these (except for the adult beverage...that was Kyle's creation.) I went to the very useful Internet to find some fun Halloween foods (what did we do before the www. days?) Kyle and I had his brother's family over last night. Then- we went to Boo on Ballard and meet up with some more friends. Boo on Ballard is a really fun event that our great town of Wylie puts on every year. They shut down Ballard St (hence the name) and have all the businesses open up for kiddos to go trick-or-treating. They have Trunk-or-Treat going on also. Plus, bounce houses, live music, food, games, entertainment, etc. It is always a really good time. And, it is a bonus that we live so close to the downtown square. We just load up the stroller, pour a cold one, and head out! As always....great times with great people. Only wish the Rangers could have sealed the deal on a fantabulous night!
Here is the spread we laid out before the big event....
Blood Shot Eyeballs
Chocolate Dipped Rats (Strawberries)
Gummy Teeth (found these at Sprouts)
Spiderweb Dip and Bat Chips (there was supposed to be guacamole under the spider web to help you see the web better. But, our avocados were not ready to be made into a dip yet. So- did what I had to do. "Bat" chips are just blue tortilla chips.)
Bloody Pina Coladas....YUMMY!!!!
And of course thank you Papa Murphy's for your awesome Jack-O-Lantern Pepperoni Pizza:
