Fan of all Fans

If any of you know Kyle well, you would know who his FAVORITE sports team of all times is. You would know who he has had a "man-crush" on for the past 13 years. You would know that he has watched every game on TV and drove his wife nuts b/c occasionally he would tape over "The Bachelorette" or "American Idol" b/c it was just that important. That is right folks.........THE DALLAS MAVERICKS are Kyle's favorite team EVER!!!! Have ya been to our house? The computer room is a shrine to Dirk and the Mavs. We have autographed jerseys, balls, pictures, baby announcements from when our sons were born hugging the Mavs basketball, pictures of myself and Kyle painted up from so we could get in the game FREE (back in the college days that is how we did it), and a huge neon "bar" light that reads "Dallas Mavericks" to light up the computer room. It is insane.

And on Sunday night, June 12, 2011, my husband went insane. The reason.........THE DALLAS MAVERICKS WON THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!!! We did it, we are the champions. Kyle has been waiting for so long to see this happen. His heartbreak in 2006 was so sad (and on top of it we lived in Houston during that time, so he was really beat down.) But Dallas got its revenge this past weekend. We beat out the dirty Miami Heat and brought home the trophy to the Big D.

Congrats to the whole Dallas Mavericks team. Although Dirk is and always will be a super star, it was a TEAM effort in which every player did their part and got it done!!!!
